Apple released three new videos as part of the “Switch to iPhone” campaign in an effort to persuade more Android users to switch to its device.

The new videos emphasize the easy transition from an Android device to an iPhone, with data such as contacts being transferred to an Apple device as part of a smooth process.
Additionally, Apple also talks about iPhone security and the software that “simply works”, trying to put Android in a bad light for the problems users have reported in the past, as well as the security issues said to affect the platform.
Apple is becoming increasingly aggressive in its effort to bring more Android users to iPhones, and it's all happening for a good reason: the company is losing ground to Google , and trends show that the gap between the two is growing.
Statistics provided by Kantar for the three-month period ending January 2017 show that iOS is far behind Android in most markets, including the United States and Europe.
In the EU5 region (Germany, United Kingdom, France, Italy and Spain), Android holds a leading position in the market with a sales share of at least 74.3%, while iOS is second with only 22.7%. The difference is somewhat smaller in the United States where Apple holds the second place with 42%, while Android is the leader with 56.4%.
China, a country where Apple is struggling to grow, Android comes first, with no less than 83.2% of the phones sold there during the period of operation of Google's mobile operating system. Apple is second with only 16.6%.
As a result, the Switch campaign upgrade is no surprise at all, and such videos are likely to keep coming. Plus, expect Apple to make the fight against Android a big deal at WWDC next month.
