Google 's Text - to - Speech technology ( TTS ) enables some products to speak to you and recognize voice content .
Google is announcing that the Google now has the ability to speak Greek search results for multiple topics. On both Android and iOS, you'll notice that Google can respond to Greek search terms ranging from the weather to football.
This is possible as the Text - to - Speech search feature in Greek has now been enabled, using the advanced neural network of Automatic Speech Recognition ( ASR ) and Text - to - Speech ( TTS ) technologies as developed by Google 's speech team .
Make sure your mobile phone settings are in Greek and try asking Google (using your voice) a search term in the following topics. For example, you can ask:
Weather: The weather in Athens', or' the weather today'
Football: You can also find the Superleague! Try saying: 'Schedule for the Super League of Greece' or
'Greece Football Championship'.
Calculator: Ask '23 plus 45' or '52 minus 37'
Translation: Try saying 'Hello in English'
To change the language settings to Greek on your Android Pixel phone, go to settings, then tap the globe (languages and options), then "languages" to add Greek (for best performance, remember to turn off English)
For the Google app settings on iOS , tap the microphone in the Google app search bar , you will see a globe icon at the bottom left of the screen. Tap it to add Greek.
