Microsoft is replacing the infamous Blue Screen of Death with a shade of green. So the blue screen of death or BSOD will become GSOD or green screen of death in 2017. A recent preview build shows the new BSOD that is no longer blue. What a brave decision from the company that always finds new ways to innovate…
Let's see more news about Microsoft's upcoming innovative feature:
Official beta testers (yes, we're not talking about the unofficial ones with the "final" versions of the operating system) recently noticed the change in a cumulative preview update that was "leaked" early. The new "feature" was revealed after a few teasing tweets from a Microsoft developer.
The green hue won't be available to anyone other than Windows Insiders, so those using the official beta versions of the operating system will be able to enjoy the emerald color when their computers crash..
The “stable” versions will still show the BSOD. If you want Green too, you’ll need to join the Windows Insider program.
Another new innovation that was announced at the end of 2016 and is probably directly related to the first:
Microsoft has added a new feature that will let you pause updates for up to 35 days.
After 35 days you will need to install the updates to be able to enjoy the BSOD that will become a GSOD!
Once again, we observe how the company uses social media by presenting "garbage" to gain impressions and promote its new operating system.
What is the real reason for the color change of a screen that had acquired the trademark name BSOD? We ask you why we believe that you do not chew what Microsoft serves us..
