Coca-Cola has developed a bottle with a built-in camera at its base!
The selfie craze has touched almost all smartphone owners! If the selfie stick wasn't enough to satisfy some people's need to take selfies and post them on their social media accounts, they can now take their photos using a "selfie bottle" or a special Coca-Cola bottle with a camera built into its base.
In addition to the camera, the bottle also includes a sensor that detects when the bottle is tilted 70 degrees during a sip, at which point the camera will take the ideal photo of the user while drinking.
Using the Coca-Cola “selfie bottle” you have the ability to take a selfie and you can share it instantly with your friends on online platforms such as Snapchat, Facebook and Instagram.
As we mentioned earlier, the Coca-Cola bottle is equipped with a built-in camera at its base and features a sensor to detect the correct angle, so that it takes a photo of the user while they drink from the bottle, making sure that the company's brand is clearly visible.
The “selfie bottle” was invented by the Gefen team for Coca-Cola’s Summer Love campaign – the company’s largest outdoor event in Israel.
“Users tag themselves and their friends in photos on Coca-Cola’s social media. It’s a really good gimmick that gets people more active during the event, knowing they can share their special moments, just by drinking their favorite soft drink,” Coca-Cola said.
Coca-Cola has said that the special selfie bottle is limited edition and will not be sold in stores.
