Double Dog: a new stupid app that invites you to dare with money

Double Dog is a new mobile app that lets you bet on whether a friend of yours will dare to do something stupid.

Double Dog, which is starting to become a trend, is an app for Android and iOS that encourages you to bet money on who can do the craziest and stupidest things. On the other hand, it offers viewers spectacle and mixed emotions from the pain of others.

To play, you must send or receive a dare invitation. If you send an invitation then wait to receive the video proof that the action has been completed and then you must proceed to pay the bet. If you receive a dare invitation and choose not to take it, then you can send it back to the player who sent it to you but with double the bet amount.

The idea probably comes from childhood and the game of truth or dare. The point is that this is another way to publicly ridicule players, but with a financial motive. Apparently some people out there have "escaped" for good.

If you search the internet you can find quite a few videos from players that might either trouble you or amuse you or upset you. It depends on how you approach the issue. The company has a Facebook page with quite a few of them but there are also some scattered on Twitter, Youtube etc. In them you will see people eating live worms, getting a dollar sign tattooed for $10 or resting their tongue on a spinning ceiling fan.

On the other hand, if you are interested in participating, you can download Double Dog for iOS or Android in their respective app stores.
