A driver of an automatic Tesla Model S was caught sleeping as his car was moving during rush hour. No, this is not a Tesla commercial.
The unknown driver, probably taking advantage of Tesla's autopilot system, fell asleep..
The vehicle's autopilot uses 13 ultrasonic sensors to "perceive" traffic around the car, manage speed, and avoid obstacles while driving.
Of course, CEO Elon Musk has warned customers that the system shouldn't be used fully autonomously just yet. Drivers will still need to keep their hands on the wheel, even with autopilot engaged, and of course, falling asleep at the wheel is not a good idea.
