With a modern design, enriched content and new services, the renewed site of the National Documentation Center (www.ekt.gr) is now available.
It is a central portal that is addressed to the science, research, education, culture and business communities, as well as to any user seeking reputable digital content and reliable information.
The new user-friendly website has been designed to dynamically adapt (responsive design) depending on the device (computers, tablets, mobile phones). The visitor has the opportunity to be informed about the constantly expanding activities and services of EKT, but also to navigate, in an easy and friendly way, the content of all the websites, repositories and platforms that the institution has developed.
The main feature of the new website, which constitutes a single content provision platform based on the principles of interoperability, is direct access to the three pillars of EKT activities: Digital Content (econtentΕKT), RTDI Indicators & Statistics (metricsΕKT), Research-Innovation-Entrepreneurship (innovationΕKT).
The new website has integrated modern user authentication technologies (Single Sign On), in order to provide personalized and improved services. It also provides direct access to the 15-day eNewsletter and the social networking pages (facebook, twitter, linkedin, youtube) of EKT, thus giving everyone the opportunity to be informed about the organization's actions, share the content and submit comments and impressions.
With simplicity and ease of navigation in mind, the website is developed both around the identity of the EKT (mission, policies, projects, press center) and the services it provides, as well as around the dynamic part of information in the sectors in which it is active in matters of digital content, science, research, innovation, culture, education and entrepreneurship.

- the section of the magazine “Innovation, Research and Technology” (www.Εkt.gr/el/magazine), with all issues in pdf format and in a flipping application, as well as with all the Tributes - Interviews that have been published from 1996 to the present.
- the News section (www.Εkt.gr/el/news), with multiple navigation options in the content with Thematic Categories and Tags,
- the Events section (www.Εkt.gr/el/events) with all the events organized by EKT (with presentations and videos of the speakers), as well as events of other organizations in Greece & the World,

It is noted that a central position on Ekt.gris occupied by the new website of the Digital Library of Science, Technology & Culture (https://library.ekt.gr), which provides access to databases, journals, open content, books, dictionaries and a series of library intermediary services.
The new site is based on modern open source technologies using good SEO practices, while its design and development were carried out by leveraging the knowledge and experience of its executives and associates, taking into account user comments.
