VLC Media Player

The new version of VLC Media Player brings fifteen bug fixes in various areas of the software, such as demuxing, decoding, video output, Qt port, as well as improvements for the Mac OS X and Windows versions. VLC Media Player 2.2.3 fixes bugs that were reported in the playback of Windows Media Video (WMV) files.

It also improves MKV tags, and fixes MKV (Matroska) infinite loop along with HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) stack overflow. Decoding works with the libvdpau-va-GL library with the new version, and the libass library is used without dialog caching.

The list of changes continues with more fixes to the Qt version of VLC Media Player, as well as the resume toolbar. For Windows users, VLC 2.2.3 allows you to open more than 15 items in Explorer.
