The Mozilla Foundation has just released the final version of the first Firefox browser for the iOS operating system.
After a development process that lasted almost six months, Firefox for iOS is here, and you can download it immediately from iTunes (download link at the end of the post).
Firefox for iOS will run on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices. Of course, like all Mozilla applications, the new browser is more careful about the personal data of the end user.
The new Firefox for iOS includes a smart search feature that will predict your movements and give you several suggestions based on your previous searches.
Private browsing could not be missing from the new Firefox for iOS, and it promises to keep your identity and personal information away from prying eyes by automatically deleting your browsing history, cookies, and passwords with the simple click of a button.
Please note that the Private Browsing feature requires iOS 9 or later.
Among other features, Firefox for iOS will allow you to sync all your bookmarks, browsing history, and open tabs from other devices.
