While Apple is planning to release the new iOS 9 on September 16th, it seems that jailbreakers are waiting for it around the corner. Someone already has their hands on a jailbroken device running iOS 9.
For those who don't know, jailbreaking a device allows you to run applications that are not supported by Apple, which is of course a double-edged sword, depending on your perspective.
It should be mentioned that since iOS 7, there have been rumors that exploits have ended and the era of jailbreak is coming to an end.
Of course, the rumors were just rumors, as it turns out. Proof? The video below shows the iOS 9 jailbreak, which some said would be nearly impossible to perform.
The video was posted by well-known iOS hacker iH8snow and depicts an untethered jailbreak he performed on an iPhone 5 running a pre-release version of iOS 9.
iH8show claims that the same method works fine for iOS 9.1 beta.
So as we see once again, nothing is impossible. We have mentioned time and time again that whatever locks, unlocks, as long as the right person is found, the right timing and of course, let's not forget the luck factor.
Huge security systems have fallen after the intervention of a teenager.
As for Apple, the company had a reputation for developing the most secure operating system. Recently, we have seen several exploits targeting iOS and MAC OS X.
It should be noted that this may be purely coincidental, as hackers are certainly trying to hit the masses (see Windows).
