Microsoft has already stated that its Windows 10 Mobile operating system will be released a few months after the release of Windows 10. But today a slide has been leaked that provides more details about the expected release date.
Windows 10 Mobile is expected to arrive in September 2015, which makes sense, given that the company said it would be released in the fall of 2015.
But, as Neowin reports, the release date in question may mean nothing to consumers, but it means a lot to OEMs.
Microsoft's new operating system for mobile devices will also be released through the Windows Insider program, so Windows fans will be able to see it on their devices sooner.
So consumers are not a serious problem for the company. However, OEMs should have the operating system early enough to consider any hardware upgrades, or even firmware issues.
This could take longer than expected and the Windows 10 Mobile release could be extended until early 2016 if OEMs don't move quickly enough.
Microsoft has not yet officially confirmed the release date of Windows Mobile 10. So the rumors that started with the image you will see below may not be true.
