Another Google service is reportedly malfunctioning, returning questionable results. In the wake of the Google Maps, it seems the search engine is having its own problems.
A recent Google search by TNW for “what happened to the dinosaurs” turned up an interesting view at the top of the results page.
Instead of displaying any scientific findings or theory about the extinction of dinosaurs, the search result returns a first card with Bible quotes.
The information comes from the website Answers in Genesis, and states in a free translation: “The Bible gives us a framework for explaining dinosaurs that includes the mystery of when they lived and what happened to them.”
It should be noted that this specific result is returned if the search is performed in English, “what happened to the dinosaurs.”
The results are completely different if you search for “what happened to the dinosaurs.”
It is unclear whether this is a bug in the search algorithm, or if someone has carried out a new hijack on this specific query.
