Pac-Man on Google Maps? No, it's not an April Fool's Day prank! Google loves video games. Try Google's search results for the terms "do a barrel roll" and "zerg rush" to see what we mean.
Tomorrow is April Fool's Day, and Google has chosen to use its maps (from the well-known Google Maps service) to pay homage to a classic video game: Pac-Man.
If you go to maps.google.com, you'll notice two icons in the bottom left corner, one for Google Earth and the other for Pac-Man. Select any city you want, and then click on the Pac-Man icon to start playing on the city streets.
We want to warn you, however, about the day that dawns. Google tends to pull very clever April Fools' pranks. Watch out for the next news you read about the company, because you will find yourself hacking your computer screen to smell a rose (it was an April Fools' prank by Google from a previous year).
