On 03/19/2015, we announced the upcoming release of Ashampoo Snap 8. Ashampoo Snap 8 allows the user to capture pixel-precise content, edit the content as individual images or videos and has just been released. The application comes with very powerful image editing capabilities.
OCR Text Recognition
The new text recognition feature converts text into a snapshot with a few mouse clicks. This way, users can convert faxes, scans, or photographed documents into real text. Supported languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Turkish, and Russian.
Revised video functionality
The rapid success of video tutorials on networks like Youtube has inspired our developers to improve and expand the range of Ashampoo Snap 8. Users can now record with the camera, add narration and even include camera outputs in screen or picture-in-picture recordings. An ideal solution for staff training and job instructions.
Improved image editing
More than 50 effects offer users many possibilities to edit snapshots using arrows, shapes and text to focus attention. Users can now share objects with each other and also import their own images. Ashampoo Snap 8 offers endless possibilities to visualize thoughts through images.
Upload to Ashampoo Webspace
For instant sharing and communication, snapshots and videos can be uploaded to Ashampoo Webspace and shared with friends and family via unique links. Upload to Dropbox, Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive is also supported.
