Today, some screenshots emerged that claim to show off Microsoft's new operating system, Windows 9.
Windows 9 Preview will be released later this month, but the first screenshots are here to prepare us for what to expect.
As you can see for yourself by browsing the screenshots, the Windows 9 does indeed include many of the rumored features, including a notification center and multiple desktops.
The German website computerbase.de , which published the screenshots, states that they are from Windows 9 Technical Preview build 9834.
Of course, no one can confirm whether the photos are real or not, as Microsoft does not usually comment on leaks.
Start Menu and Multiple Desktops
The Start Menu, it seems, is already present in build 9834, and features a design that is very similar to the one the company itself presented at the BUILD 2014 conference in April.
The leaked screenshots also show the new multiple desktops, with a switcher at the bottom of the screen that apparently allows users to jump from one desktop to another.
The notification center is also available in the beta build, and promises to keep users informed about what's happening on their computers.
