Google DevFest Season II: GDG Thessaloniki “strikes again”! After the first completely successful event, last November, the members of the Google Developers Group of our city, are coming back even more dynamically and presenting us with all the developments in technology, in a four-day programming festival.
GDG Dev{elopers} Fest{ival} is a major event which is co-organized for the second consecutive year in Thessaloniki by Google Developers and HELEXPO, within the framework of the 79th Thessaloniki International Fair, at booth 14.Its purpose is to give technology enthusiasts the opportunity to get to know the latest developments, to try them out first and to apply what they have learned.
Google DevFest Season II in Thessaloniki was designed to highlight the benefits of using modern technology to entrepreneurs, executives of private and government organizations, academics and technocrats, always focusing on developers. DevFest this year will bring many specialized speakers and participants to the city, while the project will revolve around the latest developments in technology. For the second edition of DevFest in Thessaloniki, the GDG will focus on the new goals that Google has set as a priority for the future development of tools and technological platforms. Starting from the talks on Material Design, where visitors will learn how “responsive Design” can be adapted and adopted to different display layouts in various environments, and reaching the introduction to the Android Wearable SDK and its latest developments, visitors will have a full 360-degree experience on the use and benefits of these technologies. DevFest is integrated for the first time into the “Developers Playground”, the largest annual multi-exhibition for Technology, Innovation and start-ups. For nine days (from September 6 to 14), the exhibition will host a series of events and activities, aiming to present the latest developments in technology, innovation, research and design, but also to connect startuppers, young entrepreneurs and researchers with each other and with multinational companies, organizations, academic institutions and venture capitalists.
