Like all Samsung SMART cameras launched in 2014, the NX mini features enhanced Wi-Fi and NFC capabilities, making it easy for users to share their photos with loved ones. The ‘Tag & Go’ feature, available exclusively on Samsung models, allows users to connect the NX mini to NFC-enabled devices, such as smartphones and tablets, simply by touching them together.
This way, users can:
• Select and transfer their photos to the connected device via Mobile Link,
• Send photos to up to four devices via Group Share, reducing the time it takes and the repetition of the same steps for each device separately,
• Manage the NX mini via their smartphone, using Remote View Finder Pro,
• The Baby monitor function allows parents to monitor their baby, as when the device detects sound, the connected smartphone is activated via an application and notifies them.
Additionally, the NX mini offers options for additional storage, as photos can be uploaded directly from the camera to the cloud. Users can also upload photos to Dropbox and/or Flickr. Dropbox offers 2GB free for every new user, and access from almost any device, while with Flickr users can upload up to 1TB of photos. Special NX-M lenses for the NX mini
Samsung has introduced three NX mini lenses (NX-M) designed specifically for the NX mini, offering a wide range of options to fully meet the diverse needs of users.
• The NX-M 9mm F3.5 ED lens features a particularly slim design and its wide angle makes it ideal for landscape photography and selfies.
• The NX-M 9-27mm F3.5-5.6 ED OIS is a micro-compact zoom lens with a sleek design, small enough to fit comfortably in pockets or bags. This lens offers the ability to shoot wide-angle to telephoto shots, with optical image stabilization for excellent results.
• With the NX-M 17mm F1.8 OIS lens, photographers can create a result that offers absolute detail in the depiction of the main subject of the photo, allowing other objects to be blurred.
Samsung NX mini users will be able to use 15 NX lenses with the addition of the special NX-M Mount Adapter (ED-MA4NXM). These lenses are sold separately.
