Why Hubic? Since there has been a lot of talk lately about privacy, surveillance, security, etc., it's good to know that there are services cloud that don't face these problems.
One such service is Hubic ., which is based in France, so it is not subject to US laws and therefore not under the control of the NSA or anyone else
A second point of excellence of the French service, apart from the issue of protecting our stored data, is their truly competitive prices. Specifically, if we subscribe to the service, we will have 25GB of free storage space. Subsequently, the charge starts from 1 euro per month for 100GB and if we want something more, for example 10TB, the charge is only 10 euros per month.
To give you a comparison of size, 100GB on OneDrive (formerly SkyDrive) costs 3 euros per month, while on DropBox it costs 7.5 euros per month. As for the large 10TB package, only Google's service offers something similar on Drive, charging 290 euros per month for 8TB.
Of course, the issue of reliability and expertise remains, something that requires time to prove.
