The hacktivist group RedHack , in collaboration with Anonymous , and Telecomix activists , are trying to spread, through social media, ways to connect to Twitter, for all Turks who wish to connect to the social network .
Through joint efforts, the groups appear to have set as their goal the goal of circumventing the censorship imposed by the regime of Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan.
Attempts at digital censorship have united activists and hacktivists, who have created a website to directly inform the public. No matter how many blocks the Turkish government makes, connecting to Twitter will always be possible for Turks, since the website will be updated on a daily basis with new DNS, VPNs and other alternative ways of connecting.
The groups are currently asking the public to spread the information on social media so that it can spread far and wide. As they state in the short message on the website: “Spread the information, in universities, in store windows, on house doors, on subway lines, in restaurants, on the streets.”
Easy access to information is a “human right” and we thought we would support the whole world.”
As mentioned above, the website offers different ways to connect to the social network, which will be updated continuously. It is set up on Redhackeditor's Tumblr account and messages are constantly being posted.

It is truly a very encouraging move for our fellow Turks who in 2014 are experiencing situations reminiscent of the Middle Ages. We are certain that such measures cannot be passed as the suppression of an entire internet is unfeasible. Public opinion is monitoring the developments and reacting.
