The developers of the free and open source Arch Linux today released the updated 05.01.2014 ISO image of their powerful operating system.
Today, January 5, 2014, Arch Linux 05.01.2014 is available for download via their official website.
The new release includes the latest stable kernel version 3.12.6, all updates released during December 2013, as well as various improvements and updated translations.
If you are already running Arch Linux, you don't need to download the new ISO image to keep your computer up to date. All you have to do is use the command sudo pacman -Syu and the update will take care of itself. This new ISO image is only for those of you who want to install Arch Linux from scratch.
Arch Linux 05.01.2014 supports 32-bit and 64-bit architectures.
