Google has announced another green investment. The company has paid $103 million for a solar power plant in California. It's a significant investment, and the thirteenth in total in the last three years that the company has been involved in these. In some cases, Google buys only the energy for its data centers, but this time it bought the entire business.
“We’re celebrating Halloween early this year with renewable energy investments, or our lucky thirteenth. A $103 million investment in Mount Signal Solar in Imperial County , California. The project will generate enough energy to power 80,000 homes,” the company said.
