Google Glass is still in the experimental stage. That's why it's not being sold to consumers yet. But the interesting thing is that people are still figuring out what they're going to do with it once they buy it. There are a lot of applications and innovative ideas that have been popping up lately before the product even hits store shelves.
A very interesting application is Race Yourself.
In essence, it is a gym app, with the innovation that it records your previous analyses and then uses them to motivate you to beat your times.
For example, if you do the same run every morning, you could use your personal best as a “carrot” or if you want your average over the past few months.
It will even be possible to compete with friends on the same course. During your run, you can see a speedometer, a calorie burn indicator and even a “ghost” that you will try to reach.
The application gives you the opportunity to push yourself a little more by displaying images that make you think you are running away from a fire, or from zombies!!!! The alternative scenes sound logical because along with the “carrot” there is also the “whip”!!!
It also works for cycling.
