Loon 's Google Project , as we have previously mentioned, is an effort by the company to provide wireless internet around the world with the help of flying balloons.
One of the biggest questions about Google's ambitious plan is how it will be able to control the balloons that will be in the upper atmosphere, so that they can provide continuous access, since they will be moving.
Balloons are not stable and unlike drones or airplanes, they will be greatly affected by winds at the higher altitudes they will need to be at.
Because of the unpredictability of the winds, Google has come up with a plan. It wants to fill the skies with balloons so that even if one of them moves out of range, another one will come to take its place.
