For cyclists who want to ride faster but are reluctant to buy an expensive e-bike, the Rubbee Mount Bike may be the solution.
Once connected, the device turns a regular bike into an electric bike that travels at speeds of up to 25 kilometers per hour. Plus, you won't need pedals since the power is controlled by the throttle.
The Rubbee Mount Bike has a “motor, bioelectronics and batteries in a single unit,” so it doesn’t require tools or wires to connect to the bike, its creators say in a Kickstarter video.
Simply place the device, then open the throttle to go.
The creators of the Rubbee Mount Bike say it's ideal because it's lightweight and inexpensive.
The device is currently on Kickstarter with a goal of raising $96,700 to enter mass production.
