The Twitter account of the largest media company, @ThomsonReuters, suddenly began last night publishing cartoons supporting Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
The attack lasted about half an hour, and the first tweet indicating something was amiss was posted shortly after 6:30 p.m. ET. Thomson Reuters was able to recover its Twitter account at about 7:45 p.m. ET. The Syrian Electronic Army posts are currently unavailable.
