In addition to the new Chrome 27.0.1453.93 being much faster than the previous version, the new update contains many security fixes, nine of which are rated critical.
The vulnerabilities were reported by developers outside the Chrome and were rewarded with $14,500 by Google for their services.
The exploitable vulnerabilities fixed mostly include use-after-free errors (in SVG, media loader , Pepper resource handling , widget and speech handling, and many others). Vulnerabilities that were also fixed but are rated as minor are listed as out-of-bounds read in the V8 engine, possible data leakage with an XSS controller, and cross-site scripting with drag and drop or copy and paste actions.
