We all know by now that the Curiosity rover, NASA 's space vehicle that is on a mission to explore Mars, is currently in " safe mode " due to some problems with its computer, according to NASA.
NASA will have to restore the computer from backups and the rover will be in safe mode while the problem is analyzed.
It is therefore understood that work on the Mars rover has stopped.
A memory problem in the side computer A, which is used for the rover's main functions, forced NASA to use the backup computer B.
The use in safe mode will remain for several days, NASA announced.
