Prime Suspectz successful attack on LulzSec.com

Prime Suspectz – a group of veteran hackers who, according to their account on zone-h.org, have compromised at least 200 high-profile websites between 2000 and 2002 – managed to deface the “portal” of a subdomain of LulzSec.com, a website now owned by US authorities.

LulzSec defaced
“Anonymous & LulzSec are the biggest lamerz in the world, they think leaks make great hackers? No, you are wrong! You will never be great hackers, you are the biggest buffoons on the planet. Guys like you ruined the hacking scene, LOIC (the famous DDoS tool) is used and you are thought to be great hackers, hahahahaha! (sic),” Prime Suspectz states on the distorted page.

Prime Suspectz added that they are still active and “call Sabu, leader of the LulzSec collective, the ‘biggest n00b of the century.’”

Lee from Cyber War News  made a very interesting observation about this hack. First of all, the main domain lulzsec.com and the subdomain portal.lulzsec.com are not hosted on the same IP address.

Considering that another website – pekingporkchop.com, hosted on the same IP address – has also been defaced, it may mean that the attack is the result of DNS hijacking.
