It doesn't take more than 30 seconds to clean your iPad screen with a cloth. However, if you're bored of doing it, this tiny autonomous robot will do it for you. From Takara Tomy, the Automee-S is a 2.75-inch device that takes on the task of cleaning any smartphone or tablet screen it finds.
As you can see in the video below, it's not very fast, but it's very well programmed so that it doesn't fall off the screen. However, it would be faster and cheaper if you did it yourself with a cloth.
The device will be released on March 28th and will cost $17. However, it will first be released in Japan and then in the rest of the world.
The Automee-S uses special cloths that are attached to the top (the package will contain some extras), it will not include batteries, and Takara Tomy assumes no responsibility if any damage is caused by the device.
