Facebook today announced Developers Live , a new video channel that will keep developers up to date with the latest news, provide tutorials, sessions, and more, all in video.
In short, Facebook wants to give developers “a central place to learn about the latest technologies.”
What Facebook promises its developers:
Mobile developers will learn how to delve deeper and develop applications with Facebook.
Game developers will learn how to create better games for the web and smartphones.
Websites and publishers will learn how to use Facebook to increase traffic to their website.
The first live event is scheduled for less than two weeks from now, on February 19. Doug Purdy, Facebook's Director of Product, says we'll discuss the top three things every smartphone developer should know in 2013.
