Facebook continues to refine and adapt its Messenger mobile apps for iOS and Android. So today it will release updates to the apps that will include listen to voice messages as a new feature.
The new Messenger apps for iOS and Android are available and have been equipped with a new option, (along with the button for adding a photo and the camera button) that will offer the 'Record' option, a new button that can be pressed to record voice messages.
If you don't like the message you recorded, you can simply delete it.
While the new voice messaging feature provides a new way to interact with your friends, Facebook has also said it will begin beta testing (in Canada) of a new VoIP calling feature for its Messenger app on iOS, which will allow users to create a peer-to-peer connection network to make calls without being charged, TNW reports.
