These days, you can almost certainly find a hacker willing to crack an email or social media account for as little as $129, or even a corporate email account, which can start at $500 per account. This data comes to us via a recent study of the underground hacking market conducted by Dell's CISO INTEL team, which has been conducting it for the past three years.
According to her findings, new trends have emerged in terms of hacking tools and services, but the number of hacking markets, where they can be set up, has also increased significantly.
For example, researchers have managed to find, for the first time in three years, cybercriminals selling the Angler Exploit Kit, which they have seen sold for prices between $100 and $135, a tool that was not that well-known a few years ago.
Other prices you might find interesting are for hacking a website and stealing its data. While this was priced somewhere around $100-$300 two years ago, today it starts at at least $350.
If you need a DDoS, it will cost you $5 to $10 per hour, $30 to $55 per day, or $200 to $555 per week. Doxing someone will only cost you $19.
Credit card numbers can range from $7 to $60, depending on the type of card, with US Visa and MasterCard being the cheapest and Japan and Asia Premium Visa and MasterCard versions (full, with Track 1 and Track 2 data) being the most expensive.
But these are the cheapest services on the market. If you need physical fake US passports, the price can range from $3,000 to $10,000, while European passports never go above $3,000.
If you want access to popular US online payment accounts, this could cost you around $150 and the scammers could even send the money from those accounts to yours, for a fee of course (e.g.: a transfer of $3,799, costs $950). For transferring money from the victim's real bank account , this fee is somewhat lower.
