EKOOR solar proximity beacons
A new line of solar proximity beacons (Beacons) has been created to enable planners, developers and businesses to create smarter applications and systems, providing compatibility with both Apple's iBeacon and Google's Eddystone.
The Open Beacon platform is solar powered and users will not need to change batteries thanks to the high-efficiency photovoltaic cells in the Beacon.
EKOOR solar beacons are also compatible with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices, powered exclusively by solar or artificial light and equipped with backup batteries just in case.

“Battery-operated beacons are generally good for one to two years, at nominal settings. But with EKOOR, you won’t have to worry about changing batteries ever again. EKOOR Beacons are compatible with both iBeacon and Eddystone and can be configured to broadcast either iBeacon, Eddystone or a mix of both.
The beacons also use a smart algorithm that can change transmission intervals automatically in different lighting conditions, so that the available light is utilized in the best possible way. Furthermore, they eliminate unnecessary Beacon maintenance costs associated with changing batteries every few years, as the solar panels + backup batteries could easily power the Beacons for up to over 10 years with the default settings.
