Indian hackers are attacking Pakistani websites in retaliation for the people killed on 9/11.
To mark the fourth anniversary of the terrorist attack in Mumbai, known as 9/11, which took place on November 26, 2008, two Indian hacking groups last week targeted more than 130 Pakistani government and non-government websites.
After the cyber-attack, it seems that the hostility between Pakistan and India has reached another level. Cyber-attack was not something new for either country.
The hacker group called Mallu Cyber Soldiers has attacked several Pakistani websites, including official government portals, such as pakistan.gov.pk, president.gov.pk , and cabinet.gov.pk, in response to the attack on the Kerala government website on September 27.
During this attack, these Pakistani hackers displayed a message praising Pakistan, along with a photo depicting a burning Indian Flag.
The message “Struck By Faisal 1337. Official Website Government of Kerala Hacked! Pakistan Zindabad. We Are Team Pak Cyber Attacker. Security is just an illusion” was posted on the website.
The hacking groups were identified as the Indian Black Hats (IBH) and Kerala Cyber Warriors (KCW). Both sides said they attacked the websites to pay tribute to those who died during the Mumbai attack.
On the same day, another hacking group IBH attacked nearly 10 Pakistani websites and other domains.
