Microsoft has introduced its special holographic platform, Hololens.
At Microsoft's Build 2015 developer conference, the Microsoft Hololens holographic platform
Hololens is essentially an augmented reality device that "runs" Windows 10 and allows the user to see virtual 3D "holograms" in the space around them.
During the presentation, Microsoft showed a Windows screen that can be controlled by voice, and when the user gives it the command "follow me", the screen can and does follow them so that they can control the applications they have open and using from there.
The purpose of Hololens is to integrate this technology into Windows, while as Microsoft stated, there are huge business opportunities from applications that have not yet been developed, and for this reason it is inviting developers to develop applications for the device, while it has already begun cooperation with various companies (Nasa, Unity, Legendary, Autodesk, and Disney) that are interested in discovering new ways of collaboration and interaction through Hololens.
