A high school student and cyber-criminal appears to be disrupting Internet access with DoS attacks in the Monroe High School district in Michigan .
In recent weeks, the young hacker has caused multiple, short-term outages to his school's connection. The student deployed a denial-of-service attack that knocked out the Internet connection for 10 to 15 minutes at a time.
These intervals may not seem like a big deal, but the incidents have occurred about six times in the past two weeks. And considering that the institution's classes are entirely online, staying connected is crucial for Monroe County.

For now, investigations indicate that the senior is responsible for the vacations, but investigations are continuing to identify any accomplices.
A denial-of-service attack on a school site may be considered a good prank by some or a way to avoid class, but in this particular case the minor cyber-offender may even face criminal charges for a felony!
