Access to the iTunes Store and other Apple services has been restored – The American company attributed the problem, which affected users worldwide, to an operational error in its systems
According to user reports and Apple's service status page, access problems in the iTunes Store, the App Store, and other parts of the American company's content delivery ecosystem have been restored.
After almost 12 hours, the situation appears to have normalized again.
Earlier, with its announcement the AppIe apologized to its customers for the extensive problems observed worldwide, attributing them to a functional error of its systems.
The problem affected access to iCloud for about four hours. Now, the only issues are observed in the iTunes Connect and TestFlight services, which are targeted at app developers for iOS and OS X.
