This is truly the end of passwordApple and Samsung have invested in fingerprint scanners for the advanced models of their most famous devices, but Fujitsu has decided to go a few steps further. The Japanese company has developed an iris authentication system to unlock smartphones with a scan of the user's eyes, reminiscent of something out of a science fiction movie.
This prototype version can be used to log in to Facebook, email and other web services, as reported by MailOnline and is being exhibited at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

The company commented that the new user authentication method it developed uses iris recognition technology, which is difficult to forge and very convenient for the user.

"The screen can be unlocked simply... with a glance, which eliminates the need to use your hands, for example when you're wearing gloves and can't use your fingerprints.".
