The arrival of the Xperia Z4 tablet comes with good news for those looking for premium online content. It claims the title of the lightest and thinnest 10-inch tablet, with a 2K resolution display. For starters, owners of the new Sony tablet will have access to Xperia Lounge Gold, which opens the way to the world of Sony entertainment.
The Xperia Z4 tablet claims the title of the lightest (392 grams in the WiFi version) and thinnest (6.1 mm) 10-inch tablet, with a 2K resolution screen. According to what Sony announced, it incorporates a 6,000 mAh battery, capable of playing video for up to 17 hours. It also connects to a Bluetooth keyboard (the lightweight BKB50) and can be transformed into a hybrid laptop with Android (5.0).
It is powered by the Snapdragon 810 (4+4 cores), with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and the ability to use microSD cards up to 128GB. The main camera has an 8 Megapixel sensor. Like all Z series devices, the XperiaZ4 Tablet is waterproof and dustproof (IP68).
By utilizing the PlayStation Remote Play function, it is possible to connect (to the same WiFi network) to the PS4, so using the DualShock 4 wireless controller, the game can continue anywhere in the house.
Sony's new flagship tablet combines High-Res audio technology and new wireless transmission coding, for connection to compatible headphones and speakers.
The Xperia Z4 Tablet will be available in 4G LTE and Wi-Fi versions from June at €699 without the keyboard (it will cost an additional €99).
