The Blackphone 2 for release in the second half of 2015 by Silent Circle. The company has added a faster 64-bit Qualcomm 8-core processor, three times the RAM (3GB), and a longer-lasting battery (3060mAh).
The Blackphone 2's screen is made of Gorilla Glass 3, is larger (5-inch) and Full HD.
The Blackphone+ will also debut in the second half of this year, but details remain unknown as the company only presented a video (you can watch it on the official website).
PrivatOS 1.1 is the first major upgrade to Silent Circle's operating system and, as the company says, brings several new security features.
Silent Circle also introduced its Mobile Enterprise Privacy Platform privacy security feature, which offers the ability to make encrypted conference calls through Silent Meeting.
The announcements for the upcoming products were made during Mobile World Congress, in conjunction with an announcement by Silent Circle about its acquisition of Geeksphone SGP Technologies.
