Microsoft introduces its second app for the lock screen of Android smartphones, Picturesque, which is available for free on Google Play.
This particular application is the second that Microsoft has introduced for the lock screen of devices with the operating system Android 4.0 and higher after Next Lock Screen. The Picturesque application is based on the Bing search engine, displaying Bing photos on the home screen of the Android smartphone, while the user will be able to change the image, scrolling between six images that will be available.
At the same time, Microsoft's application will allow users to see notifications for messages and other functions, such as weather information, while at the same time there will be direct access to the device's quick settings. This application is not a launcher, so those interested will have to download and install it and then use it in combination with a launcher application from the abundance available on Google Play.
The app shows that Microsoft continues the policy expressed by CEO Satya Nadella, in order to provide software for all platforms and not only for Windows.
