Snapchat is one of the most popular messaging apps. Since last October, users have started seeing ads in the Recent Updates category, as its creators look to capitalize on widespread popularity to increase their profits.
Of course, these ads appear for a certain period of time or up to 24 hours and disappear immediately. However, the curious thing is that Snapchat officials ask interested parties who wish to advertise to pay (hold back!) the not inconsiderable amount of $750,000 ! The aforementioned amount may seem large to you, but according to sources from the advertising industry, many giant companies ( including Samsung, Universal, McDonald's, etc. ) appear willing to pay this money, although there are certainly lower prices. Snapchat is estimated to currently have a very large user base , as by August 2014 there were over 100 million users who used the application .
In fact, although nothing official has been announced, it is estimated that currently the application's users may number close to 200 million, which is why large companies will certainly benefit from promoting their products through the well-known application, especially since the majority of users are teenagers!
