Forget the Wi-Fi Routers you knew! The technology of 2015 is here from D-Link. For today's demands where more and more devices need an Internet connection, a cheap wireless router probably won't be enough for you.
new alien 11AC routers in the Ultra Performance promise speeds of up to 5.6 Gbps and come ready for unlimited connections of different devices constantly on and off your network.
There are three versions of the Ultra Performance series, with the top-of-the-line DIR-895L/E model hitting up to 2.260 Mbps in the 5 GHz band and up to 1.024 Mbps in the 2.4GHz band.
It features a total of eight high-power antennas, and multi-user MIMO technology that helps make the Wi-Fi network operate as fast as possible with many devices connected simultaneously.
Pricing for the devices has not yet been announced, but the new routers will be available sometime in the second quarter of 2015.
