We access our Google accounts from so many devices that it's hard to remember them anymore, and sometimes even though the device is linked to account , we may no longer use it. To solve this issue, Google has come up with a new security dashboard that will help us keep better control over the devices that can access our accounts.
The internet giant on Monday launched a new “Devices and Activity dashboard” with the added ability to show users all the devices they’ve used to log into their account in the last 28 days, as well as those that are currently logged in. Users will also be able to track things like the last time they logged into their account, the location they logged in from, and the browser they used to log into their account.
Although there was a similar security dashboard, from now on the user will even be able to lock their device remotely, so that if it is stolen, the person who has it cannot access Google account.
The company also tries to inform all users to use the security settings it provides them as well as to activate 2FA, for complete security and control of their account.
