With the main goal of exploring collaborations between Greece and Korea and attracting investments in the high-tech , the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency in Athens (KOTRA) held, with the support of Corallia, the first Greek-Korean Cooperation Day in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).
Greetings were delivered by the Commercial Attaché of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, Kwon Park, and the Director of Business Development and Technology of Corallia, Dr. Nikos Vogiatzis, in the presence of representatives of the political leadership and the business world from Greece and Korea (such as SK C&C, Samsung, LG CNS, etc.). The participants observed Korean practices in the fields of e-government, smart public transportation, advanced security systems, e-learning, etc. and the event concluded with the holding of pre-arranged B2B meetings. The event was held following the business mission to Korea, where Corallia on the occasion of the visit of the President of the Republic Karolos Papoulias in 2013.
KOTRA Athens is the commercial section of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and since 1973 has aimed to strengthen collaborations between Korean and Greek companies and organizations and to promote trade relations between them.
