The acquisition of Hellas Online by Vodafone has been completed and formally finalized. According to a related announcement by Vodafone, the transfer of the 72,7% share they held in Hellas Online has been completed by the companies Intracom Holdings and World Equities Investments Holdings SA.
"Already holding an 18.4% stake in Hellas Online, with the completion of this agreement, Vodafone Greece 's total stake now stands at 91.2%," it is stated characteristically.
The agreement has already received the necessary approvals from the competent authorities, specifically the National Telecommunications and Postal Commission and the Competition Commission.
As noted in the same announcement, Vodafone Greece and Hellas Online will continue to operate as they have until now, as separate companies, continuing and further expanding their very successful collaboration, always focusing on meeting the mobile and fixed communication needs, as well as providing the best service to their customers.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of Vodafone Greece, Mr. Glafkos Persianis, stated in this regard: "Vodafone Greece and hellas online now constitute a large and dynamic team that will form the basis for accelerating the implementation of our strategy to provide consumers with integrated communication services, mobile and fixed.
