The public needs to exercise special caution, as Cyta reports that attempts have been observed to deceive its customers by fraudsters who appear at homes or call, impersonating Cyta officials, usually arguing that they need to check inside the house for telephone or internet connections.
The ambitions of the various crooks, although not clear, are likely to also aim at «scanning» of houses for thefts, making them certainly dangerous. For’ that, Cyta's customers are called, on’ one hand to be careful and request proof and clarifications, on’ other hand to immediately file a complaint with the Police.
The public must be especially careful and deal with these scammers with due caution, as Cyta, according to its usual practice of visiting its officials at customers' premises, does so by arrangement; its officials always wear official identification and use an official vehicle.
