The device's name is Breeze. The user blows into its mouthpiece. Then, the data is transferred via Bluetooth to the “smart”» phone, where a specially installed application (named Breathometer, compatible with both iOS and Android operating systems) informs him of the blood alcohol levels detected.

The purpose of the device is to warn its users whenever they are ready to exceed the limit by drinking another drink, said the man who invented it, Charles Michael Jim.

As he himself said, in a different case, when someone has drunk more than the permitted limit, the Breathalyzer Breeze device informs them that they must not drive.
