By the mid-2020s, 250 London Underground trains are expected to be renewed... This renewal is estimated to cost up to 16 billion pounds.
As reported by the BBC, the trains will be installed on the Piccadilly, Central, Waterloo & City and Bakerloo lines.
London's "metro of the future" will feature large corridors, like the trains on the Metropolitan, District and Circle lines.
Representatives of metro workers say they are "concerned" about the possibility that trains in the future may not require the presence of a driver, as they will be automated.
