We first heard about Facebook's Audience Network at the end of April, and now we're learning that the most popular Social Network's ad network for third-party apps is becoming available to all developers and advertisers.
Through Audience Network, developers can integrate ads into their apps and earn monthly revenue from them. There are three types of ads: banner, interstitial, and native.
On the other hand, Facebook's 1.5 million active advertisers can expand their advertising campaigns and target customers on third-party apps. All of the above without having to connect to a third-party service, since the choice to place ads on third-party apps is made through the Ads Create tool and Power Editor, which means that targeting is done based on the familiar tools.
Finally, Facebook Audience Network came to compete with services like Google's AdMob, Yahoo's Flurry, and Twitter's MoPub.
